Through production of the Dacia Logan MCV, Dacia has created an affordable people carrier that has received attention to every detail and all of the high-end fittings of luxury, premium-priced vehicles.
Both budget and family-friendly, the Logan MCV is suitable for all occasions, holidays and roads. Featuring best-in-class boot capacity, occupants of the Logan MCV will find enough space to comfortably hold five adults. Dacia has taken full advantage with this 'Maximum Capacity Vehicle', offering flexibility and versatility far superior to its rivals. Motorists can choose from three different trim levels: Access, Ambience, and Lauréate models are available.
Immediately, the exterior of the Logan MCV gives the impression that it's a firm and steady vehicle that both driver and passengers will be able to rely upon. Wheels are available as either steel or alloy, depending on the trim level, and tinted windows are included as standard. There is also a range of colours for motorists to choose from, in order to give their vehicle the personal touch.
Within the Logan MCV, the vehicle's true potential shines. Vehicle occupants can adjust the internal temperature through the four-speed heating and ventilation system, and multimedia systems can be added as options. This enables a radio with CD player including MP3 CD reader, including steering wheel fingertip controls, and the additional capability to connect MP3 devices through the USB connection. Boot capacity is impressive, with an initial state of 573 litres that can expand to 1,518 litres when the rear seats are folded. The Logan MCV also allows for flexibility of transported objects, with a forward-folding front passenger seat that allows for transportation of long items.
There are two petrol engines and a diesel engine available with the Logan MCV. The 0.9 litre or 1.2 litre petrol units provide eager performance, reaching 0-62mph acceleration in as little as 11.1 seconds in the case of the 0.9 litre, 90hp edition. The highly economical 90hp diesel, on the other hand, can achieve combined fuel consumption is 74.3mpg and CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.
Installed safety features include driver and front passenger seat airbags, as well as a deactivation function on the latter. Child seats can be easily installed through the ISOFIX anchorage points, and there are also a number of drive safety assistant systems that are included as standard. Drive stability is protected by Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Emergency Brake Assistance (EBA), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Traction Control.
