The Nissan Note is the latest car to benefit from the newest developments in Nissan's design language and interior finishing. This is a car that is at the cutting edge of technology; the design is contemporary, and the drive systems available are at the forefront of what is currently available on the market today. Combining these technological features with top-of-the-range handling and agility, the Note will help any motorist achieve the rewards of their daily journeys in terms of pleasure and speed.
On the outside, the Note has been given a sports-focused look, to put emphasis on the vehicle's performance capabilities. New visual features include a low roofline, flared wheel arches, and a sleek new front grille. Nissan has created the profile of the Note to be dynamic and exciting from all angles, speaking volumes as to its potential even while stationary. The body makes use of research in streamlining, enabling less wind lag and a more aerodynamic drive experience. Motorists can customise the body paint from a range of eight different paint types, and can choose between 15 and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the interior upholstery can be customised with Modern Black cloth, Dynamic Black cloth, and Premium Black cloth with part-Leather trim. Driver and passengers alike will be pleased with the spacious and practical nature of the cabin, and will be able to enjoy the comfort of the ride thanks to the technology featured within. The Note makes use of NissanConnect, which is Nissan's fully integrated navigation, communication and audio entertainment system. It is controlled from a 5.8" colour touchscreen, and provides features such as external device synchronisation, satellite navigation, real-time traffic updates, and voice recognition. Vehicle occupants can also utilise wireless Bluetooth® connectivity, for hands-free telephony and audio streaming.
The engine range is available with five-speed manual or CVT transmission, and include 1.2 litre petrol engines providing 90PS or 98PS as well as a 1.5 litre 98PS diesel unit . Combined fuel consumption of 80.7mpg and CO2 emissions of 90g/km are possible with the diesel motor, whilst the petrol versions provide excellent response, particularly at low speeds.
Safety features come by way of the six airbags that are perfectly situated to protect the occupants. Drive safety assistance systems include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), to give the driver maximum levels of stability control during adverse circumstances. ISOFIX child safety seat anchorage points are included, allowing for easy installation.
