I found the service desk personnel, Jamie and Charlie, very helpful and personable. The work I had done was completed while I waited. A free vehicle health check and car wash were also undertaken, with the check recorded on a video and sent to my phone. All very professional and I will certainly use Toomey again for my Tucson servicing needs and probably explore replacement vehicles with them in a couple of yearstime. The showroom is spacious with plenty of Hyundai models on show and a pleasant waiting area with free coffee on hand.

I visited just over a week ago after having the last rights read on my 10 year old Ford Focus. I'd been researching Hybrid SUV's as I wanted a vehicle with substantially more boot space, and the Hyundai Tuscon looked like it would fit the bill. Andy Marshall came out on to the forecourt as we were looking at the vehicles and invited us into the showroom to discuss further. Following a
pleasant discussion regarding our options and with the vehicle we were interested in, in stock, we entered into negotiations, and a week later, I picked up my new vehicle. Andy could not have been more helpful, and I would recommend him to anyone visiting this dealership.

BEWARE, Awful experience with this dealership. My partners father bought a car from this place, was not made aware of any faults or issues with the vehicle that existed. Not even a year later within 10 months his car started suffering from difficulties and problems rendering the car unusable and un safe.
Despite this, Hyundai are still forcing him to pay for all the repairs and will not do it themselves due to a lack of service history even though this dealership sold him the vehicle and didn't provide any paperwork whatsoever initially when he first purchased the vehicle.
Avoid.

2nd service at Hyundai in Basildon. Car is again returned in pristine condition and I was treated respectfully by the staff. Only four stars because I live in Chelmsford and Basildon is quite far away, and they are having work done so have to use a temporary building which is not the most comfortable.

Had to travel to Basildon for my 30k service as the dealership in Chelmsford has closed down. It's a part of the Toomey Group and is in the midst of a rebuild. Service department is in a portakabin but is clean and tidy with a waiting area for customers. Offered drinks several times by Kirsty who was fantastic. Very friendly and polite. Service took 2.5 hours and I passed the time reading a book and perusing the very nice stock on site.
Would I go to Basildon again? Yes I would though I do believe we are getting a new dealership back in Chelmsford in the near future.
Would I get another Hyundai, 100%. The car has been flawless over the last 3 years. An Ioniq 5, oh yes please.
